Aslay, also known as Dogo Aslay and Dingi Mtoto, is a Tanzanian singer born on May 6, 1995. He first entered the music industry in 2011 with his hit song “Naenda Kusema” under the management of Mkubwa na Wanae. The song quickly gained popularity throughout East Africa, marking the beginning of Aslay’s professional music career.

In 2013, Aslay joined forces with Mbosso, Beka Flavour, and Enock Bella, who were all under the same management, to form the Yamoto Band. The group enjoyed success for five years before disbanding in 2017, after which Aslay and his former bandmates pursued solo careers.
Recently, in November 2022, it was announced that Aslay had signed with Sony East Africa and Sony Africa, following in the footsteps of Abigail Chams and Alikiba, who had previously joined the record label.
