Faustina Charles Mfinanga (born November 9, 1992), popularly known by her stage name Nandy, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter and actress. He was born and raised in the town of Moshi, Tanzania in the Kilimanjaro region. She won the All Africa Music Awards twice in the category of the best female artist in East Africa in 2017 and 2020.

In Addition, His musical career began when his friend introduced him to Ruge Mutahaba, the CEO of Tanzania House of Talent (THT). This is where he met Emma the Boy, who produced his first hit single, Nagusagusa. The song became very popular. 2016 participated in the Tecno singing competition. The competition involved participants from all over Africa and during the finals in Lagos, Nigeria, Nandy emerged as the first winner. This competition improved her singing skills, while gaining confidence in acting, as well as gaining valuable knowledge of the music industry from music coaches and mentors such as M.I Abaga of Chocolate City, Yemi Alade and Bien of Sauti Sol.
In 2017 she released her song One Day which led her career and gave her several opportunities as she was also one of the best female artists in East Africa who participated in Coke Studio Africa in 2017 and later that year she was nominated in the All Africa Music Awards. 2023, Nandy launched his own record label called “The African Princess” and signed Yammi who is the label’s first budding musician.
